Day 10: Heidi & Kun-kun @3.7kg

Now Heidi's getting used to things around her in my place and isn't scared of my cats any more. She still hisses at them, but it's becoming less and less. She can be much more open-minded to Kun-kun than Ni-ni. Kun-kun also seems to be curious of Heidi and sometimes tries to sniff for greetings instead of that Ni-ni always goes upstairs right arter she senses Heidi. Maybe Kun-kun already know that herself is no match for Heidi in fighting. Heidi is tiny but has guts like a lion. Anyway I'm so happy to see Heidi and Kun-kun warming up to each other. Thanks God!

Day 8: Heidi's nail cut @3.6kg

I saw Heidi was scratching curtains or golf bags and her nails often got caught in texture. Cats sometimes break finger borns from it, so I thought "I'd better take care of it before something worse happens." I knew she didn't like having a nail clipping, but couldn't know how much she hated it. Then she scratched me just as I took her hand on my knees... Look at this photo, she was super furious to death and shouted at me "F*ck(Beep!) off! Get lost of my face!" I can't believe this Heidi is the same baby who peacefully dozes on my knees or meows and nestles me for the dried fish. I could clip just one nail. For the rest, maybe some other time Christin comes over...

Day 7: Heidi lovers @3.6kg

Today Heidi's mom Christin and 3 boys came to see Heidi. I deeply felt that Heidi was really lucky. I even don't dare to think of how many strays can have loving owners to take care of them, it must be less than 5%. I wanna thank Christin for Heidi as a cat lover. Heidi looked lonely after they left and meowed to me a lot, kept walking around. I hope Heidi'll get along with my cats and enjoy her stay more here. I bet Christin will baby Heidi too much, just like I do. Today's photo is "Heidi's another favorite place".

Day 6: Heidi's room @3.6kg

Heidi uses my tea room on the 1st floor, which can get sunshine the most in my place. She loves sleeping on a chair under sunshine during the day, sometimes gets out and patrols other rooms, and gets back to the chair again. The oil heater works for 24 hrs, so she never feels cold, this is very important. It has a balcony surrounding her room, but it doesn't seem it attracts her that much. Her bed is also her favorite place to stay. When she peeps out her small face from the entrance hole, she looks so cute.

Day 5: Heidi's favorite @3.5kg

Heidi's favorite is the dried small fish which is all natural and low salt. Once she hears the rustling noise of fish package, she gets excited and follows me anywhere. But "Too much is as bad as too little", so I have decided to feed her only 10 fish a day. When I close the package after she finishes, she always meows in a sad tone and looks into my eyes, that's more than lovely. Then I give her one more and one more...and it's gonna be around 15 fish in the end. I think she knows the way of making herself attractive to others. I wish I could have known it in my teens too... I'm totally under her control now. Today I got a message from Christin and said that Heidi's friends of NCTU were all missing her a lot. It's good to hear. Don't worry, girls and boys, Heidi enjoys herself here. Pls visit her soon!

Day 4: Met a new friend again @3.4kg

I gave her some toys to play, but she didn't like them at all. So I bought her a new ball toy, but she didn't even look at it. I drove to 2 pet shops to look for it though, so sad... She always meows me to get her out of her room. Maybe she is scared of Ni-ni and Kun-kun but still curious as well. So I let her go see Kun-kun this time. They hissed each other for a few hours, but started sleeping staying away. I guess Heidi and Kun-kun might be able to be friends. Heidi likes our living room, doesn't wanna go back to her room.

Day 3: Met a new friend @3.4kg

Heidi met my cat Ni-ni first time. Heidi came out from her room, Ni-ni run up stairs and stared at Heidi walking around in silence. Heidi found Ni-ni and suddenly froze up, passed 5mins, 10mins, 15 mins, they both didn't move, just gazing each other in 3m away. Cats are so patient, it's amazing. I finally took Heidi back to her room. I have one more cat, Kun-kun, she hid herself somewhere from Heidi. She is so wimpy. It's still a long way to go for good friends...

Day 2: Slept in my knees @3.3kg

In the morning, right after I opened the door, she trotted to me from her bed, rubbed her soft and warm body to my leg and spoke to me "Mornin!", so cute. I worried if she wouldn't eat, but actually ate up food. It made me so happy. At night, she slept on my knees peacefully and twitching her legs. I hope she had a sweet dream.

Day 1: Welcome Heidi @3.2kg

Heidi was so quiet in my car, but started meowing after she arrived her room in my place. I kept petting her "Good girl" till she stopped it but I tried to leave her, then started it again. Problem is, when I stay with Heidi, my cats keep meowing "Mommy, come back to me"... I hope they can get along together, but they hissed across the door from each other. I just got a cat's chorus at my place! For the last, I introduce Heidi's share mates. Ni-ni is a 9-year-old female calico. I picked her up under the bridge when she was 6 mons. She has only one eye from birth, but still beautiful. She is very difficult, doesn't love anyone but me. Kun-kun is a 8-year-old female calico with white body. I adopted from SPCA in Japan. One of her eyes is also blind from sickness. She is friendly, curious, but so wimpy. She loves eating and anyone who feeds her, surprisingly 5.8kg now...
